Celebrating Our Journey – Life Insurance Beneficiary

Celebrating Our Journey – Life Insurance Beneficiary

Christie McCowen ’09

Change defined our years at Lawrence. We watched the Warch Campus Center rise—from the demolition of Hulbert House to voting on chair samples at Downer—and graduated into the uncertainty of the Great Recession. Fifteen years later, while much has changed, uncertainty continues to shape our lives and the experiences of students walking the same paths we once did.

Our journeys haven’t always been easy, but we’ve persevered—and that’s worth celebrating.

I joined the Lawrence-Downer Legacy Circle as a way to give back, one day. Naming Lawrence as a beneficiary in my life insurance policy was a simple way to honor what previous generations gave to me and ensure future Lawrentians have the same transformative opportunities.

I hope you’ll consider joining, too.
