Continuing My Lawrence Support— Trust Beneficiary

A number of years ago I sat down with a development officer and had a conversation about my giving to Lawrence. While I always enjoy engaging with Lawrence, I was a bit uncertain about what and how much this person may want from me. Through that conversation, I learned about a variety of ways in which I could expand my financial support on my own terms and timeline without affecting my current financial situation, since I had two sons to put through college! I learned about planned giving, which wasn't something I had known much about nor considered previously. There were so many great ideas for thinking about a legacy for Lawrence-and many of these concepts are very easy to do. Eventually, my husband and I decided to create a trust and we named Lawrence a charitable beneficiary. It feels good knowing my support to Lawrence will be able to continue through my future gift. And once I shared this information with Lawrence, I became a member of the Legacy Circle.
